Dell Technologies is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Channel Partner Financial Solutions BDM to join our team.
Dell EMC is seeking a Channel Partner Financial Solutions Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong analytical skills for our high volume global channel partners across North America, EMEA, APJC and LATAM. The BDM will be directly involved with the continual integration of EMC and the roll out of the DELL Working Capital Solution Program throughout the channel business. The BDM will oversee the development and ongoing growth of our Global Channel Partner financial solutions program. The BDM will coordinate and support the Regional Program Directors and the Financial Shared Services Center of Excellence (COE), driving downstream activities. The BDM will have a dynamic responsibility to manage activities that are cross functional and cross organizational (i.e., Marketing, Treasury, Legal, FSS, DFS, Regional Finance Controllers, Accounting, Tax, External Vendors/ Funders, GRC/BMS Reporting, etc.).
The individual will also be expected to conduct complex economic projects working with large amount of detailed data identifying & depicting “the story”, formulating recommendations through executive presentations.
Coordinate upstream (Program Directors) and downstream (back office FSS) resources, as well as build and maintain strong relationships with customers & vendors/funders in order to align and deliver upon strategic objectives and expand value to both the channel partner and Dell EMC
Understand and learn external financial solutions: vendor’s credit, pricing, and financial structuring options, in order to have point of view on available solutions to resellers
Manage end to end legal process, including legal document execution, working directly with global, regional and local (internal and external) legal and tax teams
Facilitate conversations with internal cross functional teams (i.e., legal, marketing, treasury, accounting, tax, and finance controllers of both the combined companies) to ensure barriers are removed and decisions are being made to drive incremental success of the program
Highly engage in the development and retention of our existing WCS’s portfolio to ensure continued growth premium of this population
Bring visibility to various owners of Dell EMC’s business of the WCS’s partner population that lack growth or are declining; maintain and expand standard process/course of actions that should be taken to incent faster growth or to scale back the partners’ participation
Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information and create compelling market analysis presentations to management
Analyze & assess partners’ & distributors’ qualifications for the WCS program; articulate business opportunities within the different markets, and effectively communicate the findings
Evaluate program trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management
Work cross-functionally toward mutual goals and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the program
Work cross-functionally to leverage support (i.e., GRC/BMS team) to automate and streamline reporting, including development of dashboards
Provide financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with current and potential vendors and partners
Monitor program to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the team
Qualifications r equirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master preferred
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Business Development, Financial Services and/or Channel
Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
Must be proficient with Microsoft office, dtb, tableau etc…
