Dell CRM FED Operations in Round Rock, Texas

This person will be responsible for online and offline customer targeting and contact management functions including: sizing catalog/direct mail/email investment opportunities, optimizing investments, and matching customers/prospects to appropriate Marcom treatments. The ability to translate analytics into action is critical to success in this role.

This person will drive customer communication plans and marketing programs, campaign management of direct mail, email and sales plays, the roadmap of strategic in-market tests designed to optimize list selection, offer, creative treatment and timing of marketing communications, business/ performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and tracking of costs for CRM solutions and services used across US and Canada

  • Campaign Planning: building and managing detailed offline circulation campaigns for the current quarter and upcoming two quarters

  • Recommending new creative ways to reach Dell customers/prospects: either enhancing existing Marcom or reducing costs without impacting performance

  • Vendor engagement: providing detailed written specifications of work, directing process improvement, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data used by Dell vendors

  • Ensure that Dell marketing has the right modeling and analytic solutions in place and providing information on those solutions to business partners

  • Contact strategy planning

  • Driving testing activities

  • Review vehicle and business health reporting to ensure campaigns are delivering results consistent with objectives

  • Preparing CRM materials for leadership presentations and collaborating with Go To Market leads for buying cycle planning

Requirements:

  • US citizenship

  • +5 years of direct marketing, analytics and CRM

  • Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, and measurement techniques

  • Database marketing experience with multi-touch targeted communication strategies

  • Demonstrated ability ‘run the business’ while ‘changing the business’

  • Ability to present to executives on a quarterly basis

  • Proven customer segmentation experience

  • Bachelor Degree required (B.S. Engineering recommended, but not necessary) / Graduate degree in Business (marketing emphasis), Communications or Statistics recommended, but not necessary
