Baylor Scott & White Health Medication Access Specialist FT-Day-Round Rock in Round Rock, Texas

The Baylor Scott & White Health Medication Access Specialist coordinates with providers and local pharmacies in the area to assist in the technical aspects of the distribution of medication refills and related functions for improving patient care. This is a high volume position that requires attention to detail. Our Health Medication Access Specialist will have direction from clinic physician leadership protocols and direct reporting to clinic nursing leadership.

The ideal Medication Access Specialist will have excellent customer service skills, be skilled in researching and finding resolutions to problems, and knowledge of basic pharmacology and pharmacy software, such as DWP and Sequoia.

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

  • 1+ years' Experience required

  • Pharmacy Technician (CPht) Certification
