Baylor Scott & White Health Hospice Compliance & QA Coord in Temple, Texas
The Compliance Q&A Coordinator conducts regional leadership and management functions of the Compliance, Quality and Patient Safety Program and education programs for the assigned department. The Coordinator assists with establishing a state of continual accreditation readiness and must play an integral role in enhancing and standardizing workflow and the day-to-day coordinated operations of the region.
The Compliance Q&A Coordinator establishes and maintains uniform regulatory compliance; partners with the DOCS in the design and implementation of the Quality and Patient Safety initiatives (QPS); collaborates with management team to develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, software training, competency skills lab and ongoing identification and assessment of learning needs impacting operational effectiveness; and works with facility leadership and staff to assess program compliance.
The ideal Compliance Q&A Coordinator candidate is licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse and has current CIHQ or OASIS and Coding certification or eligible for certification in 24 months. The ideal candidate will have outstanding computer skills to utilize multiple software programs, demonstrates the ability to assess and address process breakdowns, able to educate using multiple learning techniques, has success performing management functions, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
