TITLE: Supply Technician

REPORTS TO: Logistics Coordinator

WORK EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of logistics or supply experience. Experience with supply management systems, equipment management systems, and inventory management systems. Experience with deployable spares packages.

EDUCATION/TRAINING: High School Diploma (required). 2 Year Degree (preferred). Knowledge and experience with ISO-9001 and/or AS9110 (desired).

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

REQUIREMENTS: Obtain and retain a current US Government Secret clearance (minimum) US Citizen or proper immigration status.

Skills and Characteristics: Outstanding attention to detail. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills that promotes and fosters a team culture. Possess excellent organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds overhead regularly

  • Able to respond quickly to sounds

  • Able to move safely over uneven terrain and elevated surfaces

  • Able to see and respond to dangerous situations

  • Able to safely climb ladders and stairs while carrying 40 pounds

  • Able to correctly wear personal protective gear up to 2 hours continuously


Position Summary:Responsible for day-to-day operational activities supplying tools and parts for all maintenance activities. Uses Supply Systems to ensure tools, parts, and equipment are properly tracked and available to support the mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply reports and take appropriate actions to respond to trends and stock level adjustments.

  • Performs preventive and minor maintenance on tools and support equipment.

  • Performs equipment custodian duties and maintains custodial listings.

  • Ensure safety is the first priority. Facilitates a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time for accidents.

  • Handle difficult and sensitive situations using sound and independent judgment within general policy and legal guidelines.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to fellow employees and government representatives.

  • Develop and submit continuous improvement inputs.

  • Coordinates, receives, stocks, controls and inventories all tools, electronic technical orders, support equipment and bench stock parts in accordance with established procedures.

  • Ensure that tools and support equipment are clean, properly marked and serviceable.

  • Issue tools, e-T.O, test equipment to include Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), support equipment, and consumables to include Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) from the tool room and ensures strict accountability.

  • Performs technical order updates and ensures entire library is current at all times.

  • Ensure 100% accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and acquired equipment.

  • Assists in the oversight of the Special Purpose Recoverable Authorized Maintenance (SPRAM) accounts.

  • Controls aircraft tail number bin (TNB).

  • Monitors HAZMAT supply lockers and accumulation areas to ensure strict compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company policies. Reports HAZMAT discrepancies, spills, and corrective actions.

  • Monitors consumable shelf life program to prevent items from expiring.

  • Writes supply assistance letters and follows up on back-ordered mission critical parts.

  • Conducts Logistics training as required.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned or directed.
