Overall Purpose and Objective:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with lottery retailers in a designated territory and maximizing compliance/sales.
Responsible for setting up all new and existing retailers
Trains Retailers on new upcoming Lottery Products and answer game related questions
Recruits new and existing accounts
Optimizes the inventory mix at retail locations
Responsible for meeting lottery compliance requirements
Processes returns of instant ticket inventory according to procedures approved by the Lottery
Follows all lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing and returning tickets to our warehouse/and or Retailers
Recovers tickets from other locations as directed by the lottery
Conducts physical inventory of Instant Tickets and On-Line Ticket stock and replenishes consumables as needed
Delivers and displays promotional materials as needed and ensures all Texas Lottery®marketing materials in the retail location are in good condition
Assists lottery personnel with retailer trouble-shooting/chronic retailer issues
Maintains regular (min. of weekly), open communications with District Sales Managers
Attends meetings as needed
Assists with other projects as assigned
Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
1-3 years of related sales experience

Must be able to speak clearly and persuasively with strong interpersonal skills.
Expresses self well in group or in one-to-one conversations
Must be able to produce written materials that are clear, concise and easily understood
Effective time management and organizational skills
